10 Acres of Green Space Coming to Brewood District, Burnaby

Construction has commenced on Dawson Park, a new 10-acre public green space in Burnaby’s Brentwood district, marking the first municipal park since 2005. Developed by Concord Pacific, the park will feature walking pathways, recreational areas, and improved nature spaces, supporting the area’s significant residential growth and community needs. Completion is expected by Summer 2028.

12 Buildings with 48-Storey Tower Planned for Surrey City Centre

Onni Group plans a 30-year redevelopment of the Regency Gardens site in Whalley, proposing five mid-rise and seven high-rise buildings with 2,705 residential units, including 321 rentals, and 23,971 sq. ft of commercial space. The project will commence with the first phase in 2032 on a currently vacant parking lot.

Multi-Unit Housing Plans for Across BC

SSMUHs or simply multi-units or multiplexes refer to dwellings which (through the new BC Provincial Bill 44) are now allowed to be accommodated on a single-family property lot with a maximum of four units.

Vancouver New Villages

The City of Vancouver is currently in the planning process to create 17 Low-density residential areas, “Villages”. These “Villages” will generally be within 400 metres from existing minor retail streets.
